Project Overview
Heffron was engaged for the preliminary mechanical scope of the Federal Reserve Board’s comprehensive renovation across two historic Washington, D.C. landmarks — 1951 Constitution Avenue and the Mariner S. Eccles Building. The work included temporary heating systems, domestic water distribution infrastructure, and storm drainage systems required to keep the broader construction effort moving without compromising building performance.
Historic designation, constrained urban logistics, and the operational standards expected on federal work all shaped the assignment. Heffron coordinated through evolving field conditions and multi-trade interfaces while maintaining the pace and discipline a project of this profile demands.
